Giang already got familiar with the BI field during her studies by working in many data analytics projects. She has a bachelor's degree in economics and accounting, and the decision to specialize in business analytics and Business Intelligence in her master's studies was strengthened by these projects. "BI is a perfect blend of my analytical skills and my business acumen," Giang describes.
Giang ended up working with us because she was impressed by twoday's approach to data solutions and the opportunity to work with advanced technologies. She has been working on these for almost three years.
Varying Days as a Business Intelligence Consultant
As a Business Intelligence consultant, Giang mainly focuses on creating and managing data visualizations with the Power BI tool. Other Microsoft products, such as Azure Data Factory, are part of her daily toolset. "Projects often involve turning raw data into meaningful insights that customers can use to make business decisions," says Giang about her work. In addition to analyzing data and developing dashboards, Gaing’s working days typically consist of daily meetings, scrum meetings, troubleshooting and cooperation with colleagues and customers.

"Working days are varied, which keeps the work interesting," Giang says. "It's also very rewarding when the customer can improve their business based on the work, making better solutions and decisions," she continues. For Giang, development opportunities are crucial: "We have a lot of training and development programs at twoday. For example in our unit's weekly trainings we go over new technologies and interesting solutions that have been used in different projects. In addition, there are good opportunities for self-study, such as completing Microsoft certifications and access to training materials:"
"Here, I have opportunities to take on more challenging projects and improve my technical and management skills," Giang sums up. She also values learning from her colleagues; "My coworkers are really skilled and friendly, which also helps in solving problems. Whenever something comes up, everyone is ready to help."
