We carry out a large number of customer projects every year, the majority of which we manage with the help of our over 400 professionals. However, in some of the projects, we use our extensive network of partners, and, in these cases, it is critical to find the right partners and build an effective cooperation model for all parties concerned.
We cooperate with various IT operators, both small and large. We have been working with some of our partners for several years on a number of projects, but we are also constantly looking for new growing companies with whom to help our customers.
One of our newest partnerships is with the IT industry growth company Identio, from Turku. We had started a major project with a large public administration operator, when the need to get even more experts on board came up. The professionals for the job were found in Identio, which was a company still in its early stages.
Karo Koskinen, who is responsible for twoday's partner relations and network, and Joonas Korgan, CEO of Identio, were able to easily reach an agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation that would, most of all, benefit the customer. From that moment on, Identio has been our partner.
Better cooperation through transparency
Identio's role in the project has been to design and develop new features and to act as a consultant and software developer. As the project has progressed, Identio’s role has remained largely the same, but the amount of responsibility has increased. The customer has been very happy with the work and its results, which is a direct result of the fact that we find the right and most competent people for the projects and that they do their work very well.

According to Identio’s Joonas Korgan, the cooperation has been very smooth right from the beginning. The necessary information has been easy to obtain, and twoday has addressed all issues very quickly.
“There have never been any problems with trying to reach Karo, and the operations have been very transparent. We are trusted, respected and given responsibility. twoday has treated us with the same level of respect as their own employees instead of simple subcontractors. It’s hard to describe the feeling, but, in any case, it’s a very nice one,” says Joonas.
According to Karo, keeping the operations as transparent as possible is the key to effective cooperation and to the best possible result for all parties – for us, our partners and our customers.
Trust is the key
Joonas points out that it has been very important for the growth company that the invoices have always been paid on time and it has been possible to fully trust the partner. This has brought stability to their operations, resulted in a more stress-free environment and enabled Identio to grow. He considers that the partnership with us was a decisive factor in the fact that they have been able to grow into a significant IT operator in the Turku region in only a year. In the words of Joonas: “They gave a small company a chance, which has been an incredibly big deal for us.
If I had to use one word to describe twoday as a partner, it would definitely be reliable,” says Joonas.
According to Joonas, the cooperation has taught them a lot about working on large projects and about sales and marketing, among other things. Joonas adds that they have received many valuable and practical tips from Karo Koskinen, for example, in relation to growing the company and recruitment.
“They have the right attitude towards entrepreneurship and they are operating with a focus on long-term success and investing in the future. For this reason, it’s been nice to spar with Identio also with regard to developing the company,” says Karo.
